Junior Enrolments
Years 7 - 10 ONLY
We have an enrolment scheme that determines who can and can't enrol at our school
Steps for Enrolment:
Visit RJHS
Visit us on one of our information evenings, Open Day or attend on a tour.
Bookable school tours are now full for Term 4.
Tours will re-commence in 2025.

Complete the Enrolment Form
Click on the button below. Please allow 20 minutes to complete per student. You will need the following documentation to complete an enrolment application:

The student's birth certificate or passport

Eligibility if not born in NZ (Domestic Visa, NZ Residency or NZ Citizen Certificate)

Proof of residence (two of the following: recent electricity bill, recent telephone bill, recent internet bill, current tenancy agreement, sale and purchase agreement).

An immunisation certificate is helpful (in case of an outbreak) but will not halt the enrolment process.
Important: Please note that if you enrol your student in Junior High, they are not automatically enrolled in the Senior High when they are ready for Year 11 as we are two separate schools. A new enrolment form must be completed for Senior High. Please note that if you move out of zone while in Junior High, your student will not be able to enrol at Senior High.

International Students
If the student is not eligible to enrol as a domestic student and currently holds a visitor visa, an interim visitor visa or an international student visa, please email international@rhs.school.nz for an international student enrolment information or CLICK HERE
Out of Zone Enrolments (NOW CLOSED):
We will be offering a small number of 2025 out of zone balloted spaces.
Please find information about the OOZE process in the button on the right.
Please also note that RJHS balloted out of zone enrolments may not be eligible to enrol at RSHS when they are ready to enrol for Year 11 if they are still living out of zone.
ZONE:
Rototuna High Schools are located close to the northern boundary of Hamilton city. Students are accepted from within a defined geographic zone.
IMPORTANT: Your child will be unable to attend the Senior High if you move out of the school zone while they are in Junior High.
